Q: How do I access my Email
A: If you are familiar with your email client's setup, use the following information to retrieve information from your POP account:
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
use your whole email address (you@yourdomain.com) as a username.
Q: Can I access my Email via the web?
A: Yes - just point your browser to webmail.deewebdesign.com and use your full email address (you@yourdomain.com) for your username.
Q: Can I be notified when i get new mail when using webmail?
A: Yes - Dee Web Design offers a free download of SmarterMailMon which runs in your system tray and notifies you when you get new mail and lets you easily launch your DWD webmail. For more info go to our Downloads Page.
Q: How do I access my Website Statistics?
A: Log into your control panel at cp.yourdomain.com and click on "Domains", then choose your domain, then click the "Statistics" Icon. This will give you basic statistics. If your hosting package includes advanced statistics, you can click the "Click Here to View Stats" link under Advanced Statistics or point your browser to stats.deewebdesign.com. Your Site ID is your yourdomain.com. Username is generally SITEADMIN. Password is, by default the same as your Control Panel password.
Q: I just Registered my domain and it doesn't work
A: If you have registered your domain somewhere other than Dee Web Design, you will need to change the name servers for your domain to:
1) Primary Name Server: ns1.deewebservices.com
2) Secondary Name Server: ns2.deewebdesign.com
once you have made this change with your registrar, it can take up to 72 hours for the change to take effect.
Q: How do I view my site before my domain propagates?
A: While your domain is propagating, you can set up a temporary address in Helm where you can access your site files:
1) Go to http://cp.deewebservices.com and log in with the username and password specified above
2) Click the "Helm Extensions" icon
3) Click the "Advanced Domain Options" icon
4) Click on your domain
5) Click the "Temporary URL" icon
6) Click the "Setup" button
7) You will see a screen that display's your username, domain and your new temporary URL. Your site can now be accessed via this temporary URL.
